We make it a point to strive for minimal waiting times. You will be notified - if possible - if the doctor is called away for a delivery, for example. Ample time is always taken for each patient.
The maternity ward of the Sint-Vincentius Hospital was one of the first five hospitals in Belgium to achieve the title of 'BABY-friendly' and 'MOTHER-friendly' hospital. A title we received from the World Health Organization (WHO) through a lot of effort. This means that we try to support pregnant women to give birth in the most natural way possible. After the delivery, the new mother is helped with breastfeeding. A whole team of midwives is ready to provide expert and motivated breastfeeding support.
