In case of unfulfilled desire for pregnancy, we can initiate investigations into the possible underlying cause(s).
These investigations can range from a simple blood test to diagnostic keyhole surgery, depending on any complaints or history. Semen analysis in men is one of the investigations.
A first step in treatment can be taken with us, specifically ovulation induction, or elicitation of ovulation.
As soon as insemination or even in vitro techniques have to be involved, we refer you to our colleagues at the fertility centre Antwerp.
This is also the case for consciously single wish mothers or lesbian wish mothers.
The legally established standard requires that insemination must always take place in a fertility centre.
